Анатолій Дмитрович Криволап (11 вересня 1946, Яготин) — український художник, майстер українського нефігуративного малярства та пейзажу, учасник артгурту «Живописний заповідник» (1991-1995). Лауреат Національної премії України імені Тараса Шевченка 2012р. Дійсний член Національної академії мистецтв України з 2021р.

Anatoly Dmytrovych Kryvolap (September 11, 1946, Yagotyn) is a Ukrainian artist, a master of Ukrainian non-figurative painting and landscape, a member of the art group "Painting Reserve" (1991-1995). Laureate of the Taras Shevchenko National Prize of Ukraine in 2012. Active member of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine since 2021.

Оле́ся Олександрівна Авраменко (25 жовтня 1959, Запоріжжя) — український мистецтвознавець, куратор, арт-критик, кандидат мистецтвознавства (1993), член Національної спілки художників України (1988), заслужений діяч мистецтв України (2010). Дві Срібні медалі Національної академії мистецтв України (2012, 2016). Член міжнародної асоціації мистецтвознавців AICA (2018). Автор понад трьохсот публікацій з питань мистецтва і художнього життя України XX—XXI століть. Автор концепцій та організатор близько ста художніх виставок і проєктів.

Olesya Oleksandrivna Avramenko (October 25, 1959, Zaporizhzhia) is a Ukrainian art critic, curator, cognoscente, candidate of art history (1993), member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1988), Honored Artist of Ukraine (2010). Two silver medals of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine (2012, 2016). Member of the international association of art critics AICA (2018). The author of more than three hundred publications on the art and artistic life of Ukraine in the 20th and 21st centuries. Author of concepts and organizer of about a hundred art exhibitions and projects.
Дослідження творчості Анатолія Криволапа — відомого українського художника другої половини XX — початку XXI століття — написане на підставі докладного аналізу творчого доробку митця, низки інтерв’ю впродовж багаторічної творчої співпраці авторки з художником. Книга висвітлює творчий шлях живописця на тлі трансформації художньої свідомості в Україні кінця 1980-х і протягом 1990-х, демонструє процес зміни моделей функціонування образотворчості в Україні на межі століть, а також наочно показує еволюцію творчого методу Анатолія Криволапа, зокрема, рух від пейзажу споглядального через абстракцію та емоційний пейзаж до пейзажу медитативного.
The study of the work of Anatoly Kryvolap - a famous Ukrainian artist of the second half of the 20th - beginning of the 21st century - is written on the basis of a detailed analysis of the artist's creative output, a series of interviews during the author's long-term creative collaboration with the artist. The book illuminates the creative path of the painter against the background of the transformation of artistic consciousness in Ukraine in the late 1980s and during the 1990s, demonstrates the process of changing models of the functioning of visual arts in Ukraine at the turn of the century, and also clearly shows the evolution of the creative method of Anatoly Kryvolap, in particular, the movement from the landscape to the contemplative through abstraction and the emotional landscape to the landscape of the meditative.
